Meet Our Team & Licensed Arborists

Brendan Sullivan, VP

Brendan Sullivan came to Northeast Horticultural Services in 2021 after a long career in business consulting. A background in problem solving and team building, he was drawn to the industry that had a need for both in order to scale. By seeing the issues first hand of his friends and neighbors in Fairfield and how they struggled to balance and juggle a variety of vendors in order to make a home run efficiently with their every day lives. He wanted to work to build a business that was talented while also elite at being able to communicate with the clients. Working on a business model to solve these issues he was introduced to Stacey and NHS who was attempting to solve the same concerns. Impressed by NHS business and goals he chose to join with Stacey to help bring NHS to the next level and diversify the business while adding new services.

When not in the office or out in the field Brendan and his wife are the proud father of two boys who can be found at a sports field most weekends throughout the Northeast either coaching or cheering them on.

Cody Murray, Chief of Operations

Cody came aboard in 2021 as our Chief of Operations with a background in Landscaping, Commercial Construction and Project Management. After spending several years on large scale commercial projects he realized he wanted to get back to his roots of building, designing and creating outdoor livings spaces that are magazine worthy. He also brings a lot of experience building municipal parks and public greenspaces for cities throughout New England.

Other than his outdoor work passion, Cody is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys rock climbing and backpacking. Woodworking is something he enjoys when he decides to go indoors. Somehow he packs this all in along with his soon to be three children!
